President & Chief Scientist

Dr. Suh is an internationally-recognized leader in sustainability measurement. He brings 20 years of experience in industrial ecology, carbon footprinting, and life cycle assessment to VitalMetrics. Dr. Suh developed the Comprehensive Environmental Data Archive (CEDA®) in 2000 and has held appointments in a number of international organizations such as the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), the International Resource Panel (IRP) of the United Nations Environmental Programme (UNEP). He was a member of the working group under the World Resources Institute (WRI) and the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) that gave birth to the GHG Protocol, which is the backbone of the CDP methodology.

Head of CDP Services & Lead Analyst

Summer oversees CDP services at VitalMetrics, specializing in scope 3 measurement and reporting. She leads sustainability impact assessment efforts using data analytics and life cycle assessment principles, such as IO-LCA, supply chain emissions quantification, and accounting of carbon and energy footprints. Summer earned her M.S. from the Bren School of Environmental Science & Management, specializing  in Energy & Climate and Eco-Entrepreneurship. She also holds a B.S. in Biochemistry from Stony Brook University and is accredited as a LEED Green Associate.

Systems Administrator & Principal Consultant

Kathy has over eight years of consulting experience creating, launching, and managing innovative data management and sustainability solutions for domestic and international corporate clients. She holds a M.S. in Environmental Science and Management from the Bren School (UCSB), specializing in energy and climate change, corporate environmental management, and eco-entreprenurship, and a B.S. in Systems and Information Engineering from the University of Virginia. At VitalMetrics Group, she specializes in tool development, data collection, environmental footprinting, carbon accounting, supply chain analytics, reporting, and sustainability strategy development.


Whitney provides project support at VitalMetrics through data collection, report writing, and marketing content creation. She recently earned a master’s degree from the Bren School of Environmental Science & Management (UCSB) with a specialization in energy and climate and a focus on strategic environmental communication. She holds a B.S. in Environmental Science and a minor in Spanish from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
